Getting started

Introduction

Yoke is one leveraged credit account on Solana. Borrow USDC from a passive pool, put it to work on Save and Orca, and keep one health number for all of it.

Leverage on Solana usually lives inside one protocol. You can loop a deposit inside a lending market, or lever an LP inside a vault built for it, but you can't borrow in one place and use the funds in another: once the funds leave the lender, the lender has no claim on them.

Yoke keeps the funds in place instead. You borrow into a credit account, an address owned by the Yoke program. The account can lend on Save and provide liquidity on Orca at the same time, and the pool that lent to it counts everything it holds.

The example account from the home page: health 1.20. Each shape is filled as far as it counts.

What counts

Every holding is valued as the USDC it could actually be turned into, and then only a share of that counts toward health:

HoldingCounts toward health
Cash (USDC in the account)100%
Save deposit85% of what Save's reserve could pay out right now
Orca SOL–USDC LP70% of its USDC side
SOL in the accountNothing

Health is that counted total divided by the debt. Every transaction that adds risk must end with health at 1.10 or above, and an account below 1.00 can be liquidated by anyone. The full rules are on Health.

Three ways to use it

  • Borrow. Open a credit account with USDC, borrow against it, and move the funds between cash, Save and the Orca pool. Each move is one transaction that either ends healthy or doesn't happen. Start with the Quick start.
  • Lend. Supply USDC to the pool for shares. Credit accounts borrow from it at a rate set by utilization, and all of the interest goes to lenders. See Supplying USDC.
  • Liquidate. When an account falls below 1.00, anyone can unwind it in one transaction, repay the pool, and keep 5% of what was repaid. See Liquidations.

Every transaction is built in your browser, simulated against the chain before you sign, and signed by your own wallet. Yoke holds no keys and runs no service that can move funds.
